Summer is in full swing, and the Rise & Shine app development team have taken the first steps into building a prototype.
It’s time for a quick recap! Here’s an overview of the Rise & Shine journey so far.
NOV 2015 : App concept born. Market research begins.
DEC 2015 : Market research shows gap in market. Project planning begins.
JAN 2016 : App functionality wireframes started. Sample audio tracks created. Name decided.
FEB 2016 : Business plan development, app developer hunt starts, audio recording starts.
MAR 2016 : App developer hunt continues, draft logo created, wireframes continue.
APR 2016 : Audio recording continues, logo finalised.
MAY 2016 : Audio, branding and wireframes finished. Planning for user testing. App developer found.
JUNE 2016 : YouTube channel created. Test audio uploaded. User testing group started. Website design started. Protoype started.
With a prototype in development, user testing is just around the corner, and the app is starting to come to life. The two demonstration tracks on the Rise & Shine YouTube Channel have gathered their first few hundred views, and more videos are planned, including an explanation of the theory behind the app, by creator Matt Searle.
